Thanks! I'm trying to create a reference sheet for my fursona, so they should all look like the same character. I think I'll have to tone down the angry snarl though... this looks a bit too unhinged XD

Do you guys think these five handsome woofs could pass as the same character? I'm at a point where drawing A wolf is not really a problem anymore, but drawing one specific character multiple times is not something I have experience with. So what's the verdict?

I hope I didn't come across as some valian knight trying to defend BlackStone's right to own half the country's housing stock or something like that.

Just to be clear, I'm not trying to defend the current incarnation of capitalism, for most people it's genuinly a bad system to live under. I was just trying to say that the issues you raised are not exclusive to capitalism, nor are they guaranteed to appear in a capitalist society. ->

This can be a feature of capitalism, but the tax system, legal system and regulations have to allow wealth-inequality to get out of hand. But this can just as well a feature of any other economic system, if a small minority is allowed to monopolize resources.

a small elite. Everyone else then has to make transfer payments to them, and go into lots of debt to access the resources they need to stay alive. And that's where we get into the teritory of rent-seeking and the situation that we find ourselves in today. ->

Arsu @dorgenarsuma.bsky.social · 02/07/2026
rent-seeking is difficult to pull-off. If you want to charge your tenant 60% of their take-home pay as rent, you need them to be desparate. In a highly unequal society, ownership of resources (housing, factories, software, productive businesses, farmland, ...) is concentrated in the hands of ->

being enforced, etc. This kept wealth inequality low and monopolies at bay, which meant most everyone was able to own the resources they needed to live their lives (shelter, food, transportation, ...) without going into lots of debt. When nobody is desparate for a resource, ->

Post WW2, stock buy-backs were heavily restricted, high inheritance taxes meant that wealthy families were forced to sell most of their holdings (real-estate, stocks, ...) once per generation, strong labour unions made sure wages kept pace with rising productivity, anti-trust laws were still ->

Arsu @dorgenarsuma.bsky.social · 02/07/2026
Agan, I get the distinct feeling that what you take issue with is rent-seeking enabled by high wealth-inequality (a small minority owning most real assets in an economy), rather than capitalism per say. Take the difference between the US today vs in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. ->

Arsu @dorgenarsuma.bsky.social · 02/07/2026
From what you've written, I get the impression that you aren't criticising capitalism so much as rent-seeking behaviour (when someone corners a vital resource, then overcharges others for accessing it). That could be a feature of any economic system if rules (taxes, ...) are not setup to prevent it.

Drawing anything symetrical is a lot more challenging than I was expecting.

Unfortunately. I expect sailing the seven seas is not an option for consoles? (I’ve never had one so idk)

Arsu @dorgenarsuma.bsky.social · 01/07/2026
Sometimes game publishers (especially indie ones) offer a non-drm version on their own store as well, but sadly it’s a rarity. So we have to look to the seven seas for lasting copies :/

The moment I realised I don’t really own copies of ebooks I bought on Amazon for my Kindle, I started buying physical copies of everything I might want to reread at some point. It’s a shame we can’t legally do the same thing with most games.

I wanted to draw some feet today and I like how Marius_tygo draws them. This sort of chunky plantigrade paw.

I had one on monday, was nervous as hell bcs I really wanted that position. I got the feeling that they'll probably be willing hire me, but given the things they told me during the interview... I'm not really sure I want to work for that company anymore... so I hope yours goes better

My first attempt at coloring and shading, though the shading went horribly wrong so I refuse to show it to anyone XD. I don't have a name for this good boy yet, so suggestions are welcome.

For me personally, the non-acceptance and self-doubt is often what allows me to connect with the main character(s), and what makes me want to know the resolution-how they deal and live with it. What solutions they find. But yes, it can be difficult to read at times.

The longer I look at this, the more mistakes I notice, but this is my first drawing that isn't just a 1:1 copy of someone else's work. I think it turned out about as well as it could have, all things considered.

Here is a wip sketch I started today, based on Grimfaust's Duke and the dude on the photo. It's not meant to be fanart of Duke, I just wanted to try drawing a wolf guy from references and I like Grimfaust's art. I'm really liking it so far. It's probably my best sketch yet.

Here are my recent attempts at a 3/4 shot of a wolf, and after that disaster I figured I should probably learn anatomy first. Hence the second picture. I'm mostly posting this for my future self, so that he can look at this when feeling stuck and see how much he improved since posting this :)

This more of less what I imagine a fursuit of Tristan from @imperiumlupi.bsky.social's Imperium Lupi novels to look like (sans red sleeves and trousers; his colour is blue). A big white wolf in a tunic, an impressive sword, a no-nonsense attitude and a slavic accent. Anyway, cool video!

I tried different arm positions and angles today. Tomorrow I think I’ll try one of those geometric exercises to try and get the 3D orientation of the torso+arms right.

That’s strange… maybe you have a factory near by that works with dangerous chemicals and they just test it whenever they remember? Or they have leaks… idk

So today I tried to work out what the muscles that define the shape of an arm are. Though, I’m not sure if I got the muscles in the bottom-left picture right, does anyone know? I’ll appreciate any feedback.

I have a 60 Hz 1080p monitor so a gpu that could do more would have been an overkill anyway 😆 and the A750 can do that with the best graphics settings in most games so I’m not complaining. And yeah, I’d keep that rtx 3070 too, it should be good for a while yet!

Actually 12600kf but whatever. I don’t game much either but when I do, I like pretty graphics so i wanted something that can do that and wouldn’t cost an arm and leg. It was only so cheap bcs the cpu was already 3 gens old and Arc was trying to get market share, but it’s still more that good enough.

Arsu @dorgenarsuma.bsky.social · 04/01/2026
When I was building my PC, 12th gen Intel cpus and Alchemist cards were on sale as bundles for very reasonable prices, so I have a Core i5 12500kf and an Ark A750 and I couldn’t be happier. If I was set in getting a newer cpu or an AMD or god forbid Nvidia gpu it have cost a lot more 😆

Arsu @dorgenarsuma.bsky.social · 04/01/2026
Sadly, reusing old parts and buying second hand or a couple generations old is pretty much the only way to build an affordable PC now.

Arsu @dorgenarsuma.bsky.social · 04/01/2026
Ouch And yeah, DDR5 prices are insane now. What I bought a year ago for ~100 € would now cost me ~500 €.

Tried my luck with arms today. I’ll probably have to look into the underlying muscle anatomy to have a chance at drawing them consistently, in different poses and without a reference image.

My first real attempts at drawing the upper body based on some images from Pinterest. First attempt was top-left, then top-right, then bottom-right and last was bottom left. My Pinterest home page will now be forever filled with pictures of big muscular men. Not that I’m complaining though 😆

Well, not my first attempt at drawing, but certainly the first one I feel somewhat comfortable sharing X3 I'm not sure about the highlights on the cheek, but it felt incredibly flat without it. Hopefully it's something that will improve with practice.
