Waiting for the Kuromi in Smash announcement.

Really bad storm hitting us for all of today. Going to push the Umineko stream to sometime tomorrow after it's passed.

So I bothered to update my audio mixer after several years and found all kinds of neat features that I can take advantage of. Unfortunately it deleted all of my settings and now I have to tweak the eq on everything again and aaaaaaaaaa

Doran 🌔 @doranreal.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

On that note, no Yakuza stream today. I need to camp out the arrival of the PSU.

010

Doran 🌔 @doranreal.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

So I ordered the case and a new PSU. Three more days of PC surgery incoming. Life continues to pain.

Correction: Wind the start back by three hours on all streams. Mistake on my end, forgot how time works. 8D

Doran 🌔 @doranreal.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Hardly good games to test the GPU on, but in a pinch I suppose I could always yassify Battler.

Doran 🌔 @doranreal.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I have a lot of things to overcome in my backlog. Starting Deltarune. Restarting Yakuza 3. Going to sit down each Saturday for at least three hours to read Umineko until it's finished.

It's nice that work decided to murder me specifically right after all the PC stuff was finished. I'll get to use that new GPU someday.

My legs and back hurt so much. Is this what squats do to you? Don't like it.

Doran 🌔 @doranreal.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

This became more of an effort than I ever anticipated. Two straight days of PC surgery, but God does it look good. Jealous.

Doran 🌔 @doranreal.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I feel for the AC fans (no, not that one or *that* one but this one). At least with something like Indy it wasn't exactly an established game franchise, even if it was from an iconic IP. Makes this kinda move sting a bit less imo.

Doran 🌔 @doranreal.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I'm sure it's going to be quite great, but as is the case with all RT it's a matter of if the tradeoff is worth it. As someone who is extremely neurotic about both FPS and hardware running cool/quiet this has never really been my thing personally. I can't really claim I'm not curious to see though.

I really like this case tbh. Hyte Y70. I'm sad it doesn't come in yellow.

MANAvirus Outbreak is starting September 30th! I have 6 collabs planned for Resident Evil: Outbreak! I'll be playing co-op with groups of friends and giving a lovely tour of Raccoon City during the outbreak! I'll also have open lobbies in between collabs 🕺

Late post but if interested check out Manas vod to see the progress of the models movements and just the sheer talent Mana has in rigging. Kinda was yelling a bit in her chat of my excitement lol.

Update: Case will be here this Friday. She should be good to go on Saturday.

010

Doran 🌔 @doranreal.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Have to get a new case for Liz since APPARENTLY the manufacturer went as far out of it's way as possible to make sure you couldn't upgrade your PSU. This is becoming a massive effing headache.

021

Doran 🌔 @doranreal.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Alright, PC mostly seems to be good. GPU is working. Weird issue where it takes like five minutes for the case fans to power down now but it's whatever. Upgrading Liz's PSU and GPU tomorrow. Not looking forward to that. Should be set after though!

130

Doran 🌔 @doranreal.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I know I say this every major upgrade, but damn this GPU is thick. Kind of want to see a 5090 in person now. Bet you could tie it to someone and drown them in a lake.
