It's just that the movie they made in the HD collection is so weird lmao, the pauses with like the powerpoint slides in the middle of things

I mean I know it would have probably been super demanding to work on a real remaster of KH358/2days but it would have been incredible to be able to properly play it without tank controls Although I've seen a remaster made by fan that genuinely looks fun to play now

I'm filling my recap image of games completed in 2026 and I think it's a very weird mix of games this year

This concludes this replay of Kingdom Hearts. I've replayed so many times yet I'm still surprised at the number of time the word "Darkness" is uttered during the last fight lol

Last hour of Friday, I turn and I see one student drawing on the arm of the other. Then the other turns to me and say "Now we have matching tattoos" and proudly showing me a doodly version of my Star Wars tattoo

Sometimes I think of that moment in 2013 I met Junichi Masuda and his first reaction when he saw I had very long hair was to point it out and say in broken English that it was very long

With the strong sun and high temperature, the water in front of my place turned into a pool of matcha. I let you imagine the amount of mosquitoes in my flat

Coworker : Why didn't you come on the team picture ? Me : I don't do pictures Cw: I don't like pictures but I was still on it Me : Yeah and you look fine on it, if I go on that picture I will be reminded that my family tree probably has more loops than a roller coaster and I won't sleep for a week

Every time someone takes a picture of me, I get closer to the complete mental breakdown and a lot have been taken this weekend and now a kid wants pictures of the teachers for the school newspaper let me kms

This fever dream culminated with the Sims 2 DS and people acted like it was bad when it's actually the most entertaining sims game ever made and actually used all of the DS features

020

I think they wouldn't be able to make a game like The Sims Bustin Out or the Urbz on GBA nowadays even if they tried hard enough. There was a glorious time when they made games with humour that felt like fever dreams instead of being overly serious about themselves.

Anyway I think I'm going to replay KH next

000

Because people are like "disney worlds don't matter for the plot" but I'm sorry they do. Terra fall to darkness happens in a Disney world and he should have had to go back to enchanted dominion to fight for Aurora as a character arc

100

(Also my point is that DDD took concept of worlds and made it so Sora was an actual part of events of that story just like KH was from the beginning while KH3 made us sit through the movie with monster to beat between scenes and huge empty fields and DDD even reconnect worlds with past games)

100

Also none of the world plays out like the movie like KH3 likes to do and there's two stories for each so like

101

Yall debate about the worlds in Kingdom hearts games but there's only one game that has been bold enough to have > the real pinochio world > Hunback of Notre Dame > a world based on a Mickey movie > Fucking Fantasia And then put Square Enix characters in traverse town again Ah and Tron I guess

Do you ever think about how present society made it almost impossible to go off grid and start anew in a random place ? You're just stuck
