I've been setting up muted tags and stuff on every site I use to avoid spoilers, and Xitter is by far the worst. Their system completely ignores quote tweets. It will show me something I have hidden if someone else quotes it, no matter what. It's so fucked up.

While searching for my camera battery charger, I found an external hard drive I thought was long gone. There's clips and screenshots on it from my PS4 dating back to at least 2018. I'm so excited to dig through it. I haven't found the charger.

Funny thing about this -- I hadn't played Control on PC before, and couldn't understand why all the wall textures/decals and faces were so low res. Turns out it had to do with raytracing being on, either because Nvidia fucked it up or Nvidia hates Linux. Possibly both. Turning it off fixed it. :)

Figured I should probably replay Control before Resonant comes out, especially since I'll probably need to buy time to see how it runs on Linux. I realized in the intro that Control sits in the middle of a venn diagram of Allegory of the cave and House of Leaves. I should catch up on my reading. 😰

Not gonna lie the OoT remake kinda looks like straight ass. Real "OoT in Unreal Engine" shit. Maybe it's just because it's trailer hype slop, but even as someone who has a lot of nostalgia about the game it just didn't need a remake like this.

It's a shame that Amazon Luna (formerly Prime Gaming) seems to have stopped including GOG games in their free weekly games. I added a lot to my library that way. Now all they give (aside from their own services) is Epic. I'd rather pirate them tbh.

I think one of the main reasons why using social media these days is so exhausting is because you have to do like a million checks to determine if something is ragebait, disinformation, sarcastic, etc. because people don't just post normally anymore.

Saw the partial eclipse earlier, but my phone decided it saw something else. Through my binoculars the area that was covered was still quite visible, and really made the moon look more like a 3D object rather than a just a flat circle. 😂
