Just to be clear, none of these phones were mine. My mom and her husband were all about the pre-paid tracphone life, so got new low-end phones every time they renewed... So, just a drawer full of sad old phones that sucked when new 😅

I showed up at the quarterly electronics recycle drop-off with about 8 old cell phones and as many chargers. The guy said, "Good lord, how many girlfriends do you have!?" Which is probably a go-to joke, if this is a regular gig for him. But it did make me laugh, hearing it for the first time 😸

We do have a basis of Superman interacting with trans folks from the recent OGN Galaxy: As the World Falls Down It's a great sequence because it emphasizes Superman's imperfections while still primarily focusing on his empathy for the young titular heroine of the book! Very heartwarming!
