#BlueSkyMonday In Ireland pumps like the one below were installed in towns and villages from the late 1800s to provide safe drinkable water. Pre 1800s people mainly obtained water from rivers and lakes. Old pumps like the one below have become decorative items. # public health # sources of water

#SmallBirdSaturday Small birds feeding on the seeds spilling from the bird feeder in the branches of the tree above them, but they became easy prey to the predators lurking in the taller trees around them. To prevent this the gardeners removed the bird feeders thereby protecting the small birds.

#ForestFriday This photo of a Himalayan style garden dates from mid February 2022 and what caught my attention then was the quality of the early morning light and the way it was striking the bare branches. Daffodils are pushing through below adding an additional element to the shot. # gardens

#Scape This shot is ‘hot of the Press’ meaning this scene was captured this morning as my wife and I walked by the marina. There was not a breath of wind; the surface of the water was like a mirror - no ripples. The reflections were perfect and begging to be captured. So I did. # yachts # calm
