Holliday @doompositive.com · 08/10/2026Plus the setup is such a pain, huge barrier to frequent use. When we moved 5(!) years ago I had an empty room, put the setup in it. Used it for one great night of HL:Alyx, then didn’t touch it. Eventually became a guest bedroom and the Vive is in storage. 110

To really enjoy the experience you need a big empty room and most houses just don’t have that. Even then, when it is at its most immersive is when you bump into a while. It makes you gun-shy to letting go. 110

I’ve tried to resist letting her out but she is so miserable if not let out it’s just the way of life now. 000

Not a stray or “born outdoors”, she just loves sleeping under the dwarf maple, or hiding in the bushes. Animals have personalities, some you can shape others you can’t.
