Ive been enjoying sleeping so much lately it just feels so good and I love dreams, even when they’re bad dreams. I also sometimes see friends there who i dont get to see enough in-person it makes me feel good when i wake up

I feel like my comfort is an “average person’s” level of a strong discomfort, however i’d say i do think about death more than my idea of an average person would. In sexual fantasies its one that makes me feel conflicting feelings,,, i find it hot but it also reminds me of death-death,, feels taboo

Drawing i did of Muse Everylead! @musemouse.bsky.social — I tried drawing sock absorption/tf for the first time, I’ll reveal the actual sock design soon!

I had my cat of 18-years put down last week, we could’ve kept her going longer but she was already suffering. I’ll look at the glass door at her old dog bed and its a strange feeling for me, she would lay there to sleep and watch the lizards and squirrels. Sending love, you can text me if you want

I would love to help but i dont have real experience with illustration :(( I know pdfs can be made at a high quality where the compression isnt noticeable, but the file size would be larger. If youre working with web ive heard a dpi of 72 is suitable while 300 dpi for anything that will be printed

DoodleSocks @doodlesocks.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

It was so hot today, when i walked out the door the ground was littered with exhausted bees 🐝

Whoah those wrinkles!! Do you often make foot studies / draw from life?

Another idea i have, experiment with your marks- lines dont have to be straight, continuous, and clean. You can imply the lines with dashes, dots, etc. Just depends on the look you want

010

DoodleSocks @doodlesocks.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

I think for flat-ness you could try not using lines? Like to use less in some places or not at all- since outlining something tends to make it flatter. Or- see how far you can push the line thickness? Make some lines hair thin with others boulder size?…

Oh huh thats a good question, Whats makes it not fun? Or what do you not like about it?

DoodleSocks @doodlesocks.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

Oh for sure! There are so many colors in things that arent readily apparent

010

DoodleSocks @doodlesocks.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

Oh cool! Ive started collecting those lately, i usually haven’t liked the waxy-softness but they have such stronger pigment

DoodleSocks @doodlesocks.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

I love it! What kinda color pencils or pastels are you using?

Having the horizon below the ground makes it appear the viewer (or camera angle) is looking up from underneath the ground plane. — If you wanna research more, the key-term for this method is linear perspective! :)

010

DoodleSocks @doodlesocks.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

Hi! It can go either way depending on what perspective you’re drawing from. When I draw I think of the horizon as the viewer’s eye-level. — I tend to put the horizon above the ground plane, assuming the perspective im drawing is from someone standing on the ground…
