She was a good, decent, ‘no fuss’ woman who was brilliant at what she did for a very long time. She also honoured her husband’s wish for a life out of the spotlight and funded a global literacy programme to the tune of $millions. Artist, philanthropist and outstanding human — truly, one of a kind.

Replace ‘science’ with ‘CAKE’… If evidence were needed of the ridiculous lengths to which some folk will go to try to validate an unhinged argument that makes no sense, that assembly of random words is it. Trying to reason with them is pointless; it would be more productive to try to juggle soot.
