Wasn't really intending spending tonight with 2000 people up a hill in Heaton Park but there you go! Great night with some comedy moments!

Closest I am getting to Oasis is hearing snatches in the back garden and the Parish Priest dining put on having christened Noel but no matter we've seen some incredible bands this year.

Horrendous scenes from Liverpool. Thoughts with everyone affected.

Note to self. I am too old to end up in a moshpit. This thought evaded me last night however.

I'm saddened to hear of the death of Pope Francis who did a lot to remind the church of core values of compassion, support for the vulnerable and care for the environment. I hope there is another man in the wings who continues that as the world really needs it!

Who wouldn't want to be part of this? South Stand sold out, suspect Main Stand will go quickly now amd especially if results go our way tomorrow! Exciting times!

I peaked at the International WiFi Shortage April Fool and I'll never achieve those heights again. I'm hoping the vet bill I got this morning was also an April Fool!

Looking good. Big one tomorrow! Don't mess it up! We can do this.

Quite enjoyed that. A rather frustrating afternoon in Liverpool but we controlled the game to come home with the points. We had some very good spells, hard to pick a stand out MOTM but I'm going with Gregory again who has become a real leading character on the pitch.

Went along to the meeting last night about the project Bury FC are doing with the English National Opera and a company called Walk the Plank. It's going to be a really good chance to celebrate the club and fans so I hope lots will get involved. No singing ability required!

Every time I go to Gigg Lane in the evening and see it in full use it makes me so happy. The dissolving of the old company was sad but we have come so far, everything driven by fans and so much potential still.

Very mixed feelings hearing that CCFB holdings has been dissolved today. The original Bury FC Co that was stolen from the fans & the frustration is real that we have never had any proper answers. But we've come a long way & this has been driven by fans so much to celebrate

Quite enjoyed that! That was a game of football. Any neutral paying a tenner had their money's worth. A battle on the pitch & looked like a real team. Hard choice for MOTM, good case for Josh Gregory who was excellent again but that powerhouse in the middle Fogerty gets it

Quite enjoyed that. Not the prettiest but the games we need to win. We always seem to rely.on last minute dramatic winners at Prestwich so good to have the clean sheet. Think Aiden Walker has slotted into the team really well but my MOTM (also the happiest) was Josh Gregory

Well my votes are done. Easier than last time mainly due to numbers but the same process. Essentially like a shortlisting recruitment process ranking the candidates according to how they meet my personal criteria in terms of competencies and aspirations & direction of travel.

Quite enjoyed that! Oh my heart. That felt huge. Thought we played well against a decent IOM team that never gave in. The game had everything but thankfully had DJ to give us the winner. Few contenders MOTM, thought Gregory & Walker were exceptional but DJ just never gives up

Andrea @dontmswithme.bsky.social · 01/02/2025

Quite enjoyed that. A bitter afternoon but the game was a warmer! Good team performance with all players putting in a shift & managing the game, shame about conceding but Stockport also kept battling. Hard to pick MOTM but Chalmers never stopped organising & is a real presence

Feels like ages since I've been on an away day and keen to exorcise the demons of my last outing to West Dids! Don't let me shout too much though as my voice had gone again last week!

I’ve spent 22 and a half years correcting people’s spelling of Aidan. Now we’ve signed a player who spells it Aiden. Should have gone with the full on Irish spelling!

I understand the FSSB nominations are now closed. Respect to anyone standing & hope candidates understand the magnitude of the role. I'll be carefully reading the statements, all about competency & values for me to build on what has been achieved & incorporating any learning.

Given darts players wear pants that either look like they've come off the BHS School Uniform Section or Primark PJs if this lad was in the BHS type he'd be gutted to lose a trouser press. Sad times.

buryfc.co.uk/squad-update... A mixed bag of news this! Glad we will see Gregory, Chalmers and Brad C back but disappointed about Ben Hockenhull. Think he's been one of our best defenders this season.
