Add the author tag to my website. And finally cleaned up the way previews show (image, changed title and description.) Thanks to @autiomaa for letting me know such a thing exists! mycabinetofcuriosities.com #fediverse #indieweb #internet #selfhosting #smallweb #webdev #blog

[Original post on nantes.social]

Did some minor updated to my website. So it seemed like as good of a time as any to reshare it here. It's part of the indieweb so you can send me webmentions if that's what you get into. 😉 Fixed a few bugs, added a link to my pleroma account, moved a few things around. Nothing major but needed […]

Last night I watched Dolly. Well half. I turned it off midway. I couldn't. A lot of gore and not a lot of substance. I couldn't get down with it. #dolly #movies #film #horror

So today I learned that in Korean Zen, they apparently elect their roshis and I think that's cool as fuck. #korea #zen #Buddhism #religion #spirituality

Well the bike ride started well but ended in defeat. I got lost and.... Even writing that is making me feel some kind of way. I ended up having a cussing fit and took a look at myself and said this is having the opposite effect that it was supposed to and realized there was a train station a […]

Today I spent the day starting to set up basic things on my new CachyOS installation, and while this part is always a bit long, it's also a nice to take inventory of what I'm using, especially since some of those choices were made before I decided to go FLOSS as much as possible and think about […]

Trying to get my xbox controller to connect on CachyOS (booting through the test usb, maybe part of the problem). Not discoverable, even after the firmwear update. (Actually one was discoverable before the update.) Reading forum posts and the number of people who have absolutely no shame in […]

Please understand that if you ask me to join you and a friend I don't know somewhere where we need to be social and I ask you if they are going to be weird and exoticize me, one of the few wrong answers you can give is to start lecturing me about how all French people are not the same. I will […]

This week's samu is focused more on home repairs than cleaning, and so I need to make a trip to the hardware store. I'm cosplaying as butch by wearing my sleeveless hoody. 👺 <---- This is my butch face. Am I doing it right?

Rough night. Couldn't get to sleep. Felt weird muscle tension and anxiety. Finally took half over an OTC sleeping pill at a little past midnight and now I'm waking up at noon. Ho ve. I thought the sleep was getting better. At least I was able to stay in bed until I feel like the pill had mostly […]
