Curious how the Boerne coaches and parents will explain to their players, who thought they won a game sending them to Wiiliamsport, the court order reinstating Tulsa and mandating another game be played tomorrow. Apparently a binding decision is not binding if you have resources to judge shop.

A3: tough answer here, a pivot depends more on getting over what just happened (client dropped you like a rock, months of prospecting and no bites, ...) and committing to a pivot with a plan for success, then being agile to tweak it. Past difficulty is not an indicator. #FreelanceFriends

A2: I've been tempted to pivot several times in two decades, but the advice a friend got many years ago resonates: do not give up your network, even if it feels dormant. Incremental tweaks, yes. But I've seen people with weak/no networks forced to pivot off an idea. #FreelanceFriends

We also have a pup cleared for public interaction after shots, we took here on her first park trip this morning. Apparently God wants to go boating here. Canyon Lake is up 19', just 2' shy of normal, after this week's flooding rains. That will take us from almost all boat ramps closed to all ramps open. Good for local economy, bad for peace and quiet.

So, our annual article got published in Microwave Journal a couple days ago. Cool. But all the buzz is the competitor got their company name in the title of their article in the same issue. That should be a gigantic no-no, but it seems the new editors at the pub let it slide. #FreelanceFriends

On a happier note ... Stevie Nix is now 16 weeks, 37 lbs at her third shot visit last week. We're on a harness and have made it down to the corner and back. Public outings, like the local people park, cleared for next week. Sister also got adopted, brother is waiting. #FreelanceFriends

Oh, deadbeat client. Contracted for 3 white papers, 2500-3000 words each. First one grew through reviews to 4900 words - complex topic. I'm about to lay down the law - either we do one more paper at 4500-5000 words, or two papers at 2500 words. I'm already paid a fixed fee. #FreelanceFriends
