I feel this daily and it's overwhelmingly depressing. I haven't shaken this mindset and probably won't be able to, thought of ending friendships from feeling like this. I'm tired of feeling so painfully lonely.

Post from @vidxn_ on Twitter that reads:
"The autistic experience of realizing you dont have actual friends -

You have people that were kind enough to put up with you. But they don't really want you around. You are not the person they choose to invite. You are not the person they think of when wanting to share something. You are not missed when youre not there.

Its so painfully lonely."

I lost Boots to breast cancer today It's been 8 months since I had to put Bean down and now it's happened again with her Boots was the friendliest and most gentle cat, she was a mother figure to Bean I miss both of them deeply. Rest well Boots, you're reunited with Bean again

So Myrient's shutting down I myself haven't used Myrient, but the loss of any ROM site is tragic for game preservation and of course AI was a factor like the parasite it is Support these projects however you can, but please do not publicly share any ROM sites. We don't need DMCa's taking any more

Alexey's Discord post discussing the shut down of rom site Myrient due to insufficient funding, paywalled download mangers and rising costs of PC hardware due to the AI bubble.

The Edit Image "feature" is a death sentence for sharing any form of photos or art on Twitter Anything you post there can be altered without consent and you can't opt out of it I seriously hope people are serious with a mass exodus to Bluesky this time, they return to there every time this happens

Kirby Air Riders is absolute perfection, Online City Trial is the shit Air Riders is the most I've enjoyed a game in years, compared to Mario Kart World I think this blows it out off the face of the Earth

Doom + Doom 2 arrived and I can't express how refreshing it is to see a game with an actual instruction manual in 2025. It's even got the original backstory for the first game Thanks @limitedrungames.com

I laughed my ass off from the Virtual Boy being added to Nintendo Switch Online They didn't even fix the design, all they did was make it so you can fit the Switch 2 in it, there's still no head strap and its required to play it Better break out the duct tape

Been thinking for a bit since this, but Nintendo should add custom sounds for GBA and GB Classics with GameCube & SNES controllers, since the Gameboy Player and the Super Gameboy existed I got bored and made a small concept, thought its a neat idea

If you hold the left thumbstick in any direction while booting GameCube Nintendo Classics on Switch 2, the GameCube boot animation plays. The Z Button variant works too, but I don't know how I got it to play

We got the Lego Game Boy announcement before the Switch 2 While I'm kind of irritated, this is actually a really cool set that I might pick up to add to my Game Boy Collection. It'll more than likely just be the DMG, but it will be cool of there's a Lego Game Boy Color or other Game Boys
