Dom @domruston.bsky.social · 29/07/2025The raw beans are pretty much inert and will last for months and months - so you can have ultra-fresh coffee on demand… I do save it for special occasions but there’s a noticeable difference compared to grinding already-roasted beans (which likely are 2-3 weeks old already). ☕️ 000

Coffee is a bit like bread in that freshness is *everything*… a handful of beans, 9 mins in a hot oven, then bung in the freezer to stop the roast and grind / brew. I don’t do it often and it’s hard to get raw beans, but it’s a treat! 110
