Slowly working on this once again. It’s hard to find time but I’m making some progress on completing it at least. #Fallout #FalloutProps

The #WastelandJamboree weekend is over and now it's back to the rat race. I had a blast hanging out with my Fallout fam (you know who you are). I really love the Fallout Community. I'm also so pleased that my booklet was a big hit. Every copy got distributed, even to all the towns Mayors! #Fallout

I love it!! It's even more awesome cause I'm sitting here working on some edits to the 2mmEC ammo for it lol

The Fallout show providing an explanation for the recast of House instead of forcing the audience to simply accept an actor swap is amazing. The real House (portrayed by Justin Theroux) nefariously playing from the shadows as his decoy (portrayed by Rafi Silver) operates in public view. #Fallout

In Discord you can start a Fallout quest for some profile perks. It takes you to a neat little interactive screen where you can watch the season 2 trailer from the pipboy. You can also search for caps and play slots for more. #Fallout #FalloutPrime #Discord

I appreciate everyone's recommendations, @bottlemart.bsky.social was a site I was considering, but I'm also curious about how to get a qr code on the underside. I'm not seeing that option with them, any suggestions? Anyway, here are some mock ups so far!

its a work in progress but this is where its at so far, thinking of maybe trying to see what it looks like with more colors too.

I had an idea of expanding my character lore to incorporate the random teddy bears found across the wasteland. It would be that while I'm wonder the waste in search of locations, every time I encounter the bears, that I would set them up in funny ways to give my daughter Rattles a laugh. #fallout

Luckily, I had a good deal of my projects saved out as OBJ’s and other compatible file types that I could import and continue working on, but I had to spend a bit of time rescaling and printing to find the proper scale to keep building. (These were out of spec parts btw)

Moving to Blender after hardware updates to my PC killed my Maya license was a bit frustrating. Some things still don’t feel completely user friendly to me but Blender is really great and free! I’m glad I’ve managed to adapt well enough to continue my Fallout Gaus Rifle build now! #Fallout #3Dprint

Skinned some of my cards to go with the wallet. It was rough photoshopping these to the right size too. I might redo them but they don’t slip as they used to so not sure how I feel about it functionally. #Fallout

Prototype Fallout Holotape faceplates for minimalist wallet are looking good. Now I gotta get the proper color filament and add some paint and a graphic. #Fallout #3Dprinting

Something else I’m working on, designing my own replacement faceplates for my minimalist wallet. Inspired by a Fallout Holotape. This might go through various phases to include more features. #Fallout #HolotapeWallet

I’ve been doing some fine adjustments to the keyboard tray model to make sure it fits snug. We’re almost there. But I’m also adding in snap/magnet features for the cover to stay put. Need to add cable ports too. #Fallout #RobcoTerminal

I’ve been making more progress with renovations in the vault. I’ve been hearing screams outside the vault door but they seem to have stopped now… welp… back to work, if it happens again I guess, power tools will drown out the noise #Fallout DomQuantum Lore: www.capitalwastelandtravelguide.com/notes

Well the keyboard just arrived but it doesn’t quite fit the tray base, not a huge problem though. I could easily alter this print but knowing me, I’m just going to remodel and reprint for a true snug fit. I also want to make sure there’s a channel for the cord. #Fallout #RobcoTerminal

So here's my idea, I'm staring at my minimalist wallet next to a holotape and thinking... "What if my wallet looked like a holotape?" I may try to print this myself but a higher quality, official fallout holotape wallet may be loads better! What you get one if @bethesdagear.bsky.social made one?

DomQuantum★★★ @domquantum.bsky.social · 21/04/2025

With win10 going unsupported later in the year, I had to upgrade to update to win11. Unfortunately this also broke my license for the only install of autodesk Maya too. Super bummed. But I can do dumb things like this now.
