The pidgey that was stuck in the gated entrance hall of the building took a lot of gentle coaxing (and a ride while perched on my shoe) to get back through the gate and into the courtyard yesterday. Sadly the new little neighbor dog was let out and got to it last night. Damn. Sorry, pidgey.

The time stamp shows a somewhat near miss of 45 minutes with the bear who found a snack in the downed tree pile.
