I’d rather vote liberal, but trudeau has lost the confidence of the people and his own cabinet ministers, who even say that he is not taking the trump tariff threat seriously. PP is not nearly as bad as trump, and I hope to God we see a competent liberal leader soon

Genuinely curious where you see this, as dismantling or fundamentally changing our universal healthcare system would be an absolute red flag for me, but PP’s policy is in support of maintaining the current quota, and adding “stable and transparent” funding for the system

Bruh if you read the ex-Finance and deputy prime minister’s letter of resignation, she explicitly details that she does not feel Trudeau is prepared to take this tariff threat seriously, and even calls out his “costly political gimmicks”. It’s one thing to be liberal, it’s another to be ignorant
