I watercolored with my nephews and nieces this afternoon. On pokemon-sized cards. One of them really likes bold colors, the other is a pokemon fan and another is in full "everything has poop" phase.

I've been watching mandu and Grogu What happened there? Some sequences didn't flow at all.

Felt like watercoloring another ACEO I had inked. I think the old paper I used is too old to absorb it properly. But I may be too used to hot press.

My next ACEOS to watercolor. Having fun doing them. Now I have to convince other locals to do them too so I can trade.

022

Dolo Okecki @dolokecki.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I learned about ACEOS and started doing small watercolors. One for now but I want to do ten or so to trade when I have the chance.

I started using watercolors again! Just as a hobby, client corrections with natural media are complicated. But showing it around, this one found home, I think

Rewatching Jurasic Park. The dinner monologue of Ian Malcom in the dinner scene is so accurate to the current AI situation, that it's scary.

Webglaze took 6 hours with this. Good, people should use the service more often. A little drawing of the kind "Gandalfs del sur" that made poetry protesting in front of Peter Thiel's house this Monday.

I left fellowship of the ring to feel asleep to the hobbot intro at 2 am. The TV didn't shut down and when I woke up at 10 am the return of the king was playing, and it wasn't finished.

I've been procrastinating giving like to any gandalfs vs. Peter Thiel reel.

Preparando un dibujito para estrenar las acuarelas Rosa gallery que me llegan nañana. Voy a trner q comprar tinta china tmb. Todo seco. Esto es un resto aguado ( de mas) con agua y alcohol.

I saw these Rosa gallery watercolors mentioned in an Instagram comment and now I'm obsessed. The thing is, the imported ones are almost as double as the ones in Amazon. I want to buy local but the price goes overboard. 2nd thing is, I am doing 2 books. No time until next May to watercolor.

I just watched the last Indiana Jones. It exeded my expectations, which were very, very low. I'd even put it with the first 3. I mean, if you ignore all the action scenes with clever editing w/ the old man (the one mounting the horse made me chukle).

Just a vent from someone whose art was stolen, credits ignored, and who became an 'unauthorized' public domain victim. These are dark times indeed You can check the original stuff here. Cheers www.artstation.com/artwork/ZLR5X

I've put Sound of Music as background noise while I draw. Grave Mistake. I can't stop watching. I thought I burned that movie in my childhood.

A drawing of a cute fairytale I heard the other day. It ended in "and they all married well" but this image was worth sketching. I ran out of time to color it. Like fairytales, I work these till midnight.

I bought kfc tonight that a shop opened near me and had some coupons, but what I'm really looking forward to is the famous rice-coocker leftover kfc rice that'll do tomorrow for lunch.

Por paginas como estas no creo que pueda publicar Oso y Oliva en una editorial infantojuvejil, a no ser que le suban la edad de mas. Me falta ponerle tonos a los personajes y sale ( pero tendrá que esperar).

Watching the series of What do we do in Shadows. The energy vampire is my favorite vampire ever. And makes me wonder if I do something similar when talking about my nerdy fixations to people who doesn't care.

Some critters from the northeast of Argentina I drew for a small Wildlife foundation. I gave it a strong glaze because we know instagram. The flat colors look so glitchy but it is what it is, these basic animals are very scrappable. I wish there would also be a web version of Nightshade.

I've been doing a lot of small presentations for my new book. I forgot that aspect of childrens publishing. Luckily I have friends and old classmates that teach kids and invited me to talk and draw. Surviving so far. And with these times, we need to promote the act of drawing with children.

Is the price for your project to be finally approved by a studio is to loose all credibility with your peers and followers? I guess it depends of how hungry you were, or how out of touch with the art community. Or maybe both.
