I either saw or hallucinated someone doing this earlier and I felt like doing it too. it's kind of funny which games will end up on a list using this format, probably skewing what I think of them or their placement in a series if applicable. Silent Hill F or Sora 1st likely to replace AI Limit.

for me this is a good sampler of things that led to my current game tastes. Legend of Dragoon was the seed for JRPGs, Touhou for STGs, and though it might sound odd, I think RE and Zelda both lay the path for me being into metroidvanias and soulslikes. all fairly important games to me.
