Excited for the shuddering wails of agony when Jolly wins. Donalds is such a weak candidate (as are all MAGA-spawned mediocrities).

Come to think of it, yeah! I was doubly reluctant to watch being neither a fan of bio-pics (especially musical ones) nor all that much of a Bruce-head, but it made me relish (again) how vital the music was, and then eager to peer into the experiences that made it (even fictionalized).

We showed Paula's first short film a few years ago, and have been 5th Floor fans ever since. Exciting to see this one take off.

I was surprised that I liked the movie quite a bit. It felt more archetypal than loosely biographical.

I have a copy! In the archives now with a 9/11 edition of the NY Post and (maybe) a moon landing front page of the local paper. Somehow, overlook the review! Wow.

Just ordered Neil's new editions of TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT and ON THE BEACH, 2/3 of the bummer trilogy! Somehow I never had copies of either. How???

I wasn't made privy to the photo selections ahead of time. But will pass that on. Thanks. I thought it odd that there were captions.

Not at all. The way they flag the sidebars online was a little subtle. I overlooked them, too. There would have been more listed but some venues don't keep up their websites, or reply to emails, so hard to verify.

A romping, stomping, hillbilly holler of a night at Property Is Theft bookstore in Williamsburg. My first live experience of Everloving (Plays the Music of Henry Flynt), the wild and ecstatic band feat. musical MVPs Jonathan Kane and Dave Solider, Jim and Heather McHugh and Peg Simone. Righteous.

Ooof! Aurora Nealand and Aliya Ultan shredding faces last night at Lowlands during Tim Berne's monthly residency. Monster ensemble (w/Taborn, Rainey) surfed a dark, festering, slamming, oceanic fugue-state for at least an hour for a crammed SRO crowd. Freaking wild.
