Drawing and commissioning art of our characters together (especially our roos, who are even more special now) brings a lot of comfort and helps to stay connected with him. You could try that with your OCs and his interacting together; maybe it'll also bring you some comfort as it does for me. :)

I'm so sorry, that's real as heck. *hugs* The pain is valid. If someone is uncomfortable and we know we aren't doing anything wrong, it's just incompatibility at worst. Keeping that in mind does help, but still hard not to overthink "oh no I've upset them" at times
