2. It's a big reason I speak highly of the town I live in - and I love showing it to friends visiting!

3. The pay for the role is ... well... not great - but I can still do art part-time, as it is a part-time gig.

4. My friend who's worked there for years is really trying to help. "They have interviews starting today! Did you get one?" "Not yet! 0_0" "Send me your resume!"

5. I am anxious though - my resume as holes - years of freelancing aren't exactly transferable to most jobs. "What if they don't see my value?"

6. Regardless of if I get the job or not - I will stay hopeful! I know myself better than anyone, and I know my value - even if a big company can't see it! "Rejection is redirection!"
