Snickerdoodles and le cake (this week with black olives, feta and sundried tomatoes) so I'll feel less guilty about a basic supper for my house tonight

A cooling rack with fat cookies and a savoury loaf cake still in its paper baking paper

Looks plain but was the incredibly delicious and we had to fend off the cats who wanted it too 😂

Heated throw is on - but Hallelujah is still the best thing to snuggle up to

Went for a walk before my jabs :) sky was beautiful and it was actually cold!

But would I keep it alive till the festive season?

I have made it down to my sofa and darling Clafoutis and Ma'amoul have joined me :)

#terriertuesday and #spookyseason Guys I've really half arsed this today as I am tired - sorry ! Here is Hallelujah who is scary on two fronts. 1. He is wearing his little sister's spider suit and 2. He is listening to LBC about kemi

I have only made it to the sofa though, partly because Ma'amoul remembered he has recently been enjoying mornings with me and came. As he is strictly husband's cat I never rebut his offers of proximity in hope he'll love me half as much!

Bonus days of sun in October shouldn't be wasted!

In bed again today - but Babka is with me on nurse duty and I'm surfacing now . :) Husband has gone to see if he can find any gigs or kaki which is all I want to eat.

Here is one of my cats fly hunting ( may your return to health be as filled with energy as she has! )

And Rora who was rescued over 10 months ago and has learned she loves beds. She never ever chases chickens. Besides which she is ridiculously beautiful . An easy 10/10 !

This is Anubis who jumped out of his kennel this week , but returned when called. 10/10 for athleticism and taking responsibility for his bad choice

The Dogtor. Way too intelligent and sassy. Took intelligent disobedience classes far too seriously. Breaks eggs as a protest of if I leave her at home ( but doesn't eat them because thd point is to make me take her with me and not want to clear up egg) . 6/10 ( she's 5 1/2 but rounding up)

Smiling face of a working German shepherd who is funny and cheeky and smart

Phaia- a beautiful creature and exceptionally good hot water bottle , but has bony elbows. The easiest dog in the world so long as you have plenty of warm blankets for her. Also an excellent fashion designer. 11/10

I rate my dogs. This is Hallelujah. A pensioner he has retired from a career in rat hunting, rare breed lamb and goat orphan raising and chicken protection duties. His lamb like appearance belies his courage and protective instincts. 17/10

I'm on bed rest today , but really, when your nurse is a super purring, hugely affectionate Croquembouche it's ok. ( she normally only enjoys cuddling at night but she has been glued to me today)

Ma'amoul is husband's back cat rather than shoulder cat - so quite often husband has to walk around bent over while Ma'amoul luxuriates on his back .

A man bent over ad a cat rides his back. The man's arm is bent behind him to support the feline posterior. He had stopped to stroke the back cat's sister on her cat wheel .

Just in case anyone cannot see the sky easily from where they are - it's almost always worth seeing!

A cold Grey, ice blue and amber sun setting , the clouds almost forming a halo .

Just a moment later the Amber - tangerine sun melting out of view and the grey dominates. The remaining bit of blue is almost green tinged.

The horses are getting willow cuttings again this weekend. While the grass is short but lush this provides more 'dry fibre' and also enriches their environment with the novelty

Deliberately posting not bad drivers to show this from a wheelchair eye view. The difference between these drivers and the last , considerate driver is significant though none are bad . The rules for passing vulnerable road users are 10mph and 2metres space - that is exceedingly rare
