Reinforcement training takes too long. Punishment works much faster. And that falsely claims that those of us using reinforcement have laboriously slow dog training sessions, that it takes forever to accomplish anything. Not true at all.

Dogs don’t become decision-makers by being shown what to do. They become them by being empowered to make good decisions. 🧠✨ “This or That” games pit two known responses against each other to see if your dog knows the difference. The key? Both behaviors must be brilliantly well understood. 🐶💡

More exercise isn’t always the answer for a hyper dog. 🐕 Adding hours of activity may just create a fitter dog who can stay excited for longer! Exercise matters, but if your dog already gets enough, adding more may not help with hyperactivity. 🐾
