I hope they don’t think they’re getting a cute and compliant lap dog 😂 Dachshunds are notoriously difficult to train and view obedience as optional. That said they are very intelligent and funny dogs and do make an excellent companions.

Checking every dimension in a CAD file provided by engineers is very tedious. These fuckers never ever seem to understand land title boundaries are fixed and not just some vague guideline. I’m sure they’d be very indignant if someone just decided to encroach on their own properties. #workskeet

I’ve been listening to a History of England podcast for a while now. How the English have not abolished the aristocracy, particularly the monarchy, is beyond me. I don’t get many scam calls these days. Only a few dodgy texts from time to time. Usually immediately after I order something online.

Got that last week immediately after I ordered something from the UK.

My work had a similar experience with a Kia they bought as a run around vehicle. Complete piece of shit.

I’ve done the sums too. I don’t do a lot of km and my car is cheap to run for a petrol vehicle so it’s not a saving for me.

It makes a lot of sense for you to switch. It doesn’t for me at the moment but my next vehicle will definitely be an EV.

I’m like you with usage. I don’t do a lot of km and my current car is relatively new and very fuel efficient. The running costs of an EV would absolutely be less but the savings would take about 20 years to pay for a new EV vehicle of equivalent capability.

The elephant in the room with these sort of calculations is the cost of buying an EV to replace an existing vehicle that’s perfectly serviceable.
