Designed a piece that fits the USB adapter slot in my camper van build. I installed a new radio, and now the new connectors no longer fit, so I've decided to design my own adapter in #fusion360 #3dprinting #3dprinted #3dprinter

Designed and #3dprinted this clip with a spring mechanism to enhance its grip strength. Printed this model with and without the spring and I find it really interesting to see how well this simple spring mechanism works. Will upload this to model as soon as I find the time #3dprinting #3dprinter

Just published a 3D printable window bird feeder. I think the dimensions work quite well. What do you think? www.printables.com/model/121345... #3dprinting #3dprint #3dprinted #freecad
An orange, 3D-printed bird feeder attached to a window with suction cups. The feeder has a modern design with a flat roof and a rectangular body, and it is filled with sunflower seeds. The words "Birb House" are embossed on the front. The background shows a clear sky and trees reflected in the window.

Designing a window bird feeder 🐦 using #freecad. Currently printing and waiting for the result. Designed to place on any window using three suction cups. Downside: Uses 200g of #filament which is quite a lot. Might need to reconsider the design. #3dprint #3dprinting #3dprinted

Just starting out with #freecad and it's way too powerful, feels nearly impossible to be open source. Love that people build such complex software and just put it out there for others to use. Thanks so much @freecad.bsky.social! Awesome work

Enjoying a beautiful day in Amsterdam after #LaraconEU
A picturesque scene of an Amsterdam canal in the late afternoon or early evening. Houseboats and historic buildings line both sides of the water. The bare trees suggest a winter or early spring season. The sun is setting behind the buildings, casting a warm glow over the scene. Bicycles are parked along the canal wall, while the calm water reflects the surroundings. In the background, a small bridge is visible.

Soldered my very first circuit board ⚡️ I deliberately do not show the back. Those are two soil moisture sensors connected to an #esp32. Next step is finding a case and mount it onto a flower pot. Also: Turns out GPIO25 can't be used as analog read when WiFi is on. Had to resolder like a true #maker

TIL about #cursor IDE. Besides the surprisingly well working #ai #coding assistance, crafting terminal commands is where it helps me the most. Just say what you would like to do and done. Most of the time it works as is. Is use this a lot for altering #statamic content e.g. when a blueprint changes

Using make.com to #automate the process of turning my YouTube videos into blog posts. 1) Watch files in Google Drive folder 2) Download latest file 3) Create transcript of audio 4) Create blog post from transcript 5) Write blog post into Google Sheets Love it.
This image depicts a workflow automation process involving multiple tools. From left to right:

1. **Google Drive (Watch Files in a Folder)**: Monitors files in a specified folder.
2. **Google Drive (Download a File)**: Downloads the file identified in the previous step.
3. **OpenAI Whisper**: Transcribes audio files into text using Whisper.
4. **OpenAI ChatGPT**: Processes the transcription to generate additional outputs or completions.
5. **Google Sheets (Add a Row)**: Logs the output in a Google Sheets document by adding a new row.

The icons and connections represent the sequence of actions in the automation.

That's a great idea. There is an addon for the elgato stream deck and Home Assistant that lets you configure API requests on button press. Depending on how much you want to code for yourself this might be interesting. I'm using three of these sensors.

#chatgpt works very well for generating alt texts for your images. In this case it was a sunrise instead of a sunset but that's still super helpful for me. Besides the time it saves me, it can be quite a bit of work thinking about how to describe the details on the image.

The glide tag in #statamic is just so beautiful to work with. Especially combined with setting a focal point. Brings so much flexibility to clients for managing images by themselves. Also solves a bunch of GDPR issues for us when we can use glide on image URLs from non-EU countries.

Using the "Higher Order Messages" of #Laravel can save you some code. The following examples all filter for published posts in three different ways. I'm not yet sure which way I like the most. Probably (2) and (3).

I wondered why my #meilisearch index using #laravel scout was always out of sync. Turns out using "delete" with an #eloquent query doesn't trigger the model events whereas running the operation on the models does. Which makes sense but I didn't realize that for a while. Might save you some debugging

#Laravel models can use casts to transform a value when either getting or setting it. In this case I use this feature to remove id, class and style attributes from an HTML string while I want to keep the other ones.

Static caching in #Statamic is one of my favorite features. There are two strategies for it but usually I use "half", which by default caches your page contents in #Laravel 's cache. One variable in your .env to enable this. As a rule of thumb wrap your forms in a nocache tag and you're done.

That's by far the shortest @statamic.bsky.social addon I have ever coded, fitting on one single screenshot. It's a #Statamic wrapper of the #Laravel package "browser-detect" by "hisorange". You can find out stuff about the requesting browser and device or render content specific to those.

Today I wrote this piece of code in #vuejs. Usually I avoid nested null coalescing operators but this one functioning as a cascade to display a job image works quite well. It will walk through the cascade: 1) job image 2) company image 3) parent company image 4) null What do you think?
