i was very cautiously excited for this finale which i think saved me. if i had the expectations of it being as good as season 1 i would be devastated. but no, i see this as a nice bonus, wrapping up the major ties. i can be happy with this and i will rewatch it many times. #go3spoilers

as much as i adored jesus, he was just kind of there. what was the point really? i know they wanted to do the second coming bit, but main plot wise it was more focused on the book of life, which makes sense considering its power. jesus became a device for aziraphale’s ambitions. #go3spoilers

another example, the michael mystery. that was sooo fast. they actual solving of it felt like 10 minutes. they just suddenly all knew. and michael didn’t get any time as the “villain”. we know her motivations but it didn’t get the time to have any impact. #go3spoilers

i always feel weird for saying this because obviously it’s the right move the remove neil from everything. i don’t want him to be involved. and i don’t want to make the pain the victims have suffered about me and GO. GO is too tied in with neil which ties not good feelings with GO.

it’s sad that everything that happened with neil and how season 3 was changed because of it has killed a lot of my enthusiasm for go3. so many mixed feelings about it. i don’t want to be disappointed. we don’t know how the new production will be able to pull off the good omens vibe.
