Happy 62nd birthday to Roberto Kelly. Kelly played 14 years in the MLB with 8 teams. He spent most of 1995 with the Dodgers after coming over in a trade with the Expos. After playing, Kelly became a coach with the Giants and managed teams in the minors as well as Mexico.

Happy 95th birthday to Fred Kipp. Kipp broke in with Brooklyn in 1957 and followed the team to LA for 2 more seasons. He also played his final year with the Yankees. With that, Kipp is the only living person who played for the Brooklyn and LA Dodgers as well as the Yankees.

Happy 108th birthday to the late Jim Russell. Russell played 10 years in the MLB, breaking in with the Pirates in 1942. He was traded to the Dodgers ahead of 1950 and spent 2 seasons with Brooklyn. After playing, he spent several years as a scout for the Dodgers and Senators.

Happy 54th birthday to the late José Lima. He was only with LA in 2004 but Lima Time was unforgettable in that postseason. His 4-0 shutout against the Cardinals in the NLDS was the 1st postseason win for the Dodgers in 16 years. A very fun spirit who left us way too early.
