From FM 2016 to FM 2026, it's been a hell of a journey across 10 years of furcons, let's go another round! #FursuitFriday #FurryMigration 2nd 📸: @sneezer.bsky.social w/ special thanks to @xdirigo.bsky.social on the pose XD

I want to make the next 10 years far more fulfilling than the last 10, now that I'm past college and have this whole life thing better figured out I think it can be done, slowly the right moves are being made to get there! Can't wait to return to conventions again!

Realized it's been 10 years since I really got my start in the fandom, time moves so fast! Reflecting on what feels like a lifetime, to anyone that was ever a part of the last 10 years, I thank you for all of these memories I will cherish forever ❤️

Errrm This is too good haha, thank you!

It's funny, I thought I'd be doing a lot more in the fandom this year given this year marks 10 years for me, but realistically I'm doing what I should have been doing in those last 10 years, financial responsibility! I'll try for Furry Migration at least, we'll see what else ^^

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 02/12/2025

That's basically where things are at, back to locking in and lurking! Hope y'all have a good holiday season! ❤️

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 02/12/2025

Next year I'm looking to sort out all my backups and media, put a solid decade of con photos and video and art in proper places with proper metadata so that it's easily accessible for all to see, that'll be a big weight off!

130

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 02/12/2025

I've been playing an unhealthy amount of Kirby Air Riders lately too, childhood truly fulfilled as I destroy everyone with Biblically Accurate Marx, is that something folks might want to see clips from? I'm not the best about sharing on social media, I don't want to flood folks feeds with mush haha

130

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 02/12/2025

I'm locking in on my diet, exercising as I'm able, fingers crossed hoping I can debut my new suit next year! It's long overdue, it beckons me like the Green Goblin mask, in my head as it stares at me from the closet, "Wear me! WEAR MEEEEEE"

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 02/12/2025

Eventually I want to expand to more video formats, audio formats, all that good stuff, I'd like to archive and do the best job I can across all forms of media ^^

100

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 02/12/2025

I'm also expanding it to include digitizing photo media, prints and film! I finally got the last of the elements to accomplish that with confidence, once the color targets arrive and I can confidently learn how to use the software I'll be going ham on those too!

100

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 02/12/2025

The biggest focus has been on my media digitization project, this has loooooong been in the works for years across various iterations with what I had for time, money, and knowledge, finally this is at a point where I'm satisfied and I can confidently start transferring video tape media!

It's likely I won't do cons for a while given the recovery, likely nothing until the latter half of 2026, but we'll see how it goes. In the meantime, there's plenty I'm working on behind the scenes!

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 02/12/2025

One of the biggest hurdles for foot surgery are getting lifted today! I figure first I'll get my knee looked at since that's had regular pain, I want to ensure there's no issue using a knee scooter, then whatever doctor visits and such it takes, I'll get the first foot done, then the other!

100

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 02/12/2025

I wasn't built to be social on social media, I mostly just lurk and enjoy all the good art, suits, and kink. That being said, here's an update on where life is at!

150

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 13/10/2025

Thanks, hope it's a great con this year!

000

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 13/10/2025

It's a feels sad that I couldn't make BLFC this year, I've been to so many of em and it's still my favorite con, but a break from cons is probably for the best right now, saving money and paying off debt, plus foot surgery coming up. When I return to cons, it'll be with great feeling and passion!

120

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 09/09/2025

Also shout out to @casualthehellhound.bsky.social and @shelbeangames.bsky.social, it's always a blast marathoning SAILOR MOOOOOOOOON with y'all for the con XD

120

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 09/09/2025

An update where things are at health-wise, all the obstacles are nearly clear for me to get that much needed foot surgery, hopefully within a month or two! Otherwise locked back in on diet and PT, hopefully in a year's time things will be a lot better physically ^^

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 09/09/2025

Furry Migration was fantastic too, saw lots of good friends, managed to get a good full suit session in for the parade, it's always great to be back in Minneapolis! Next year will be 10 years since my first furcon, FM 2016, thinking ought to make that one special! 📸: @furrymigration.org

Megaplex was a blast, my first Megaplex, I want to thank all the frens that let me join their Airbnb, next year I'll be trying to focus more on the con itself if I can make it, heard great things about the pool! 📸: @yourboykuto.bsky.social

Been a wild past couple weeks, but finally back settled into a more normalized routine, gonna lock in for a while and focus on betterment for a true second wind at this fandom in the future ^^

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 26/07/2025

I'm not much of an artist, but I'll make an exception here for something that means this much to me <3

020

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 09/06/2025

MRI complete! It’s still the most fun to have heavy metal music playing during procedures when they give you the option haha, now we wait and see!

020

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 02/06/2025

Saw a back specialist today, nothing obvious with X-rays, but next week I’ll get an MRI and we’ll see for sure if there’s anything going on with my lower back. Now to schedule a knee specialist! Piece by piece we’ll fix this body!

120

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 02/06/2025

Health update: My feet procedures are on hold until we can ensure that I’ll have access to stay in the upstairs guest room while I recover, but when I do I’ll be seeing a top surgeon for that sort of thing!

With new Deltarune this week, I find myself coming back to play Undertale again as well as Chapter 1 and 2 of Deltarune, gotta get it all fresh in the mind again and chug all the new content goodness! ^^

My brother played this song a lot on rides to and from school way back when, melodies from the song have echoed in my mind for years! I’m glad it only took one search to find the song again ^^ youtu.be/2f2zi8sMCB0?...

As far as this account goes, I follow and like a lot of good content, it’s my goal to take time this summer to organize and slowly post fursuit content new or old to the fursuit account, see if I can post more to this or the vent account, and see where it goes, I’m not super social but we’ll try!

060

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 18/05/2025

I still think very fondly of folks of years past, it’s a skill I want to work on, I’m not the best at initiating conversation with most folks but I think the world of friends of the past and want to reconnect or find new frens to click with

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 18/05/2025

We’re a week past, I’ll say FWA was pretty alright! Good parties and happy to see frens ^^ Didn’t suit as much as I’d like but that’s alright, I’m hoping when I return to cons I’ll be ready to wear my new suit and go all out! 📸: @fluffiestthing.bsky.social

If it’s possible, I really want to debut my new suit at BLFC again, we’ll see how the timing works out!

030

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

This is still a con of all time, so many good memories for that particular BLFC, it’s where I debuted Doddsie and so many great times with good frens, lots of new frens met too! And Rain is always a good fren, always happy to see Rain at BLFC ^^

110

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

That’s the mindset I’m going in with! Have a blast, then come back stronger and better once I’m recovered!

010

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

By all means try me if ya dare!

010

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

Absolutely will do! I mainly used this photo as its one of the only fursuit photos I got from FWA last year haha, maybe the only I found, I need to reorganize my photo libraries while I’m recovering

020

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

Thank ya! It should go alright, the hope is that long term I’ll have more flexibility and mobility and far less pain in the feet, hopefully help the knees too, and from there there’s no stopping me!

020

Doddsie @doddsiefox.bsky.social · 23/04/2025

It seems that FWA could be the last con of the year for me, as I need surgery on my feets which will put me out of action for months if it happens, so gotta make the con as blast as can be! Looking forward to it and seeing y’all! 💙💚 📸: @automatadog.bsky.social

Get in, we’re fast tracking our way to BLFC this year! #FursuitFriday For real though, if any mutual friends have any interest, I’m looking to host a room at BLFC for the first time! PM on Telegram if interested, it’s a fantastic time each year and I hope to share new experiences with good folks ^^

Hope y’all at both ANE and FC have had a wonderful time! My next con will most likely be FWA, we’ll see for sure, right now the focus is getting in shape!

A few folks have messaged me about it, now I have to ask since I didn’t go, who put tailcopter Doddsie roasting over an open Doddsie flame on the sticker map at FC? Kinda crazy how it stands out from the rest in that open and otherwise mostly empty chunk of Midwest #FC #FC2025
