I met RA Salvatore at Gencon over 10 years ago and he was the nicest guy. He told me a couple things that really stuck in a workshop I attended. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to tell stories quite like he does, but there’s room for my own stories, in my own way. It doesn’t have to get weird.

Thanks to Microsoft’s policy preventing anyone from playing games from external USB storage, I spend way too much time moving games between internal 1tb storage, proprietary 2tb storage, and formerly inexpensive 5tb USB storage. People said the same of PHOTOGRAPHY. As someone who has used Photoshop since v 1.0 and taught it to hundreds of educators across northern Illinois and northern Indiana, I see it as a tool and a medium for expression. But I readily admit not everything I do is art. Sometimes I make mistakes.

Sometimes the whole point of Dungeons and Dragons is the friends you make along the way. I’m super proud of this so don’t be a dick.

Party in Peril: after defeating a giant snake in the desert, the rabbitfolk witch waits to be revived as her familiar tends to her. The gnome wizard is hastily draining water from a cactus as a swarm of ravenous vultures attack. The female shifter rogue is catching her breath against a rock as the sun beats down. Only the foxfolk monk has the strength to fight off the vultures with his quarterstaff.

I had to send Stella to the great beyond today, and it breaks my heart. She was 16. Our pets are family - ohana - and no one gets left behind. Hang in there - you’re one of the good guys.

Stella couldn’t lift her head on her own, she’d lost so much weight and was fur and bone.
