It's a sad day here. We just lost our Eleanor Rigby. She's the little tortie in the front. We've had her since 2008 when she was a tiny kitten. This is the time of year bats are birthing. For the first 4 weeks mum carries baby with them when they fly out to feed at night. This is exhausting and often Mum lands on powerlines to rest. Then when taking off their wing tips touch the live lines and they are fatally electrocuted.
