Han Solo and Pikachu are facing off at the Mos Eisley spaceport, as in Episode 4, "A New Hope." Pikachu is standing on the table, playing the role of Greedo, complete with vest. Pikachu is pointing a gun at Han, and Han has his hands on his own blaster. Han is complaining, "Even I get boarded. You think I had a choice?" Pikachu seems unimpressed, and the translation reads: "You can tell that to Jabba. He may only take your ship."

Well, after much procrastination and justifiable caution, I've finally obtained 2 Mews via the 8F glitch in Pokemon Red and made one shiny. I'm not sure if I should be commended for the effort or lose karma points. But hey, that's one off the bucket list.

Pokemon Crystal update: Legendary Birds caught. And there was much rejoicing. Can't wait to see what the stats look like in the later games. All critters from the Virtual Console Pokemon games are guaranteed to have at least 3 stats that are maxed out.

My hunt for the legendary wandering beasts in #pokemon Crystal is done. This is on the 3DS Virtual Console. I'd forgotten how much I hated this back in 2001. It makes one appreciate the quality of life improvements since then.

I'd been making small payments on my pre-order of the Pokemon Legends ZA Switch 2. I'd forgotten about the sales tax, which bumped out any cases, warranties, or accessories in my budget. But yay, I finally have it!
