My only wish is that they added "fixed" mode for stat leveling, which was available in Engage. Statistically, it all evens out by the time you hit level 40, but you do get those sucky outliers and I don't think that's particularly fun. At least it gives you more than enough tools to work around it.

Certain units who sucked in one timeline can pop off in others if you put them in the right class or give them a different weapon. It's always been part of the series in a metagamey kind of way, but this entry organically encourages you to get on that level of strategy

One thing I really like about Fortune's Weave is that it really leans into replaying and trying new things. My first playthrough ended up hard-stuck in the 2nd part and it's really fun to start over with another character and discover the things I could / should have done

That's fair. I still feel like the line art is too "clumsy" for AI in many pieces, but I agree that there's a lot of tell-tale signs and the timelapse stuff is a big one. It's rough out there 😵‍💫

I don't think this person is using AI or stealing work... it would look a lot more polished than it is. I think this is just an artist who doesn't have a developed personal style and seems to still be in the learning stages. I recognize this style of portfolio from many colleagues in art college.

Nothing drains my fun like being exposed to so much discourse that is simultaneously really shallow and really polarized. Criticizing games has this bizarre moralistic bent to it, as if a feature that irritates you or wastes your time is morally wrong. Tldr; Gamers are fucking annoying, shut up

I miss when the most analysis you'd hear about a new game was from a couple reviews and comments from people who played it. Now it seems like everyone is an armchair game designer and everything gets analyzed in detail before you can even touch it.
