These are places where the schools are the heart of the community - where healthcare is available, food and clothing pantries are stocked, and Friday night football is like church to some. These are regions where no private school exists yet public funds pour out of the community. Shameful.

Closing rural post offices will do the same thing that closing rural schools has done: Empty out rural towns. Why? To sell off farmland for rock bottom prices to the oligarchs. Water and mineral rights and CAFOs polluting with impunity. It’s been the plan for decades.

Just saying, in K-12, we don’t “do DEI”. What we do is offer students with diverse learning needs (diversity) the ability to receive the support they need (equity) to be able to learn in welcoming environments (inclusion). It’s actually really simple, and it’s what we know works for each child.
