When I moved to Canada from the US and the pharmacist told me how much my medication costs here I literally screamed (little embarrassing, had to apologize to the poor woman). It’s name brand so it’s the exact same medication in both countries but here it costs 1/10 what it does there.

We had this brand in Pennsylvania at the medical marijuana dispensaries. They made sure to price out any local smaller local growers. Which Pennsylvania shouldn’t have allowed. Really hope they don’t take over the Canadian market.

When I practiced in western PA I had several patients in their eighties who’d had polio as kids and still lived with the effects. RFK is a narcissistic POS and about to be a mass murderer. It’s vile.

I remember learning in US how it used to be that fire departments were private and only rich people could call for help if their house caught fire. Then came public fire departments (along with libraries and other evil socialist things) American elites are really yearning for the good ole days

My abusive ex gets unmonitored custody time with our kids. The kids are the abuser’s weapon to truly terrify and hurt you. You do what you have to to maximize the kids’ safety. Family court does NOT protect kids, it protects the abuser. Moms do what we gotta do.

I’m up in Nova Scotia and we had a freaking orca here the other day which is NOT normal. It was in the causeway we drive over to get off the island. If I’d seen it right there when I was driving I would have wrecked my damn car.
