I was starting to find flagging AI Slop on LinkedIn therapeutic. Thankfully AI Slop is a lot less prevalent. Can we now get rid of video shorts on all of social media platforms (I'm aware I sounds like a grumpy dad).

I too looked at the ROI of AI infrastructure the wrong way. You have to consider that investments in this technology are not expected to 100X. It’s just expected to have a better return than another type of building: commercial real estate.

I’m starting to get a feeling that a lot of “independent journalism” and content on YouTube is no longer independent or “organic”. Oh well, back to my algorithmic recommendations.

Why does every social network eventually get overrun by unscrupolous people trying to push fake narratives for services you don’t want or need? I’m going to go interact with honest bots on Moltbook.

As much as we talk about Mythos in the context of security I haven’t heard much reporting about the potential vulnerabilities in “smart contracts”. Crypto bros might have some bad days ahead.

I barely stepped away from “geeking out” for less than 48 hrs and apparently I’m supposed to be running Clawdbot and should have purchased a Mac Mini for it… Don’t tell my wife but I already did. Also I’m all up for being in tech to constantly learn but can we slow down a bit 🤣

Black Friday is almost here, the day where we constantly add things to an e-commerce shopping cart we won't buy and probably won't need. If only they did the same discounts for domain names so we continue to buy and register domains we don't need.

Namespaces tidy your cluster — they don’t isolate it. All containers still share the same kernel, so one escape can take down the node. Partitioning ≠ Protection. True workload isolation happens at runtime, not in YAML. By @denhamparry.co.uk for @thenewstack.io

Vibe Coding Is the New Open Source—in the Worst Way Possible
As developers increasingly lean on AI-generated code to build out their software—as they have with open source in the past—they risk introducing critical security failures along the way.

Hot Take: MCP is not an “API for agents” it’s more like a patch for legacy code. “Older” applications which prevent programmatic access to components are patched by MCP. Is this the right solution? Time will tell.

Inflation incentivizes consumption because the net value of liabilities gets lower overtime. Inflation is a monetary policy phenomenon. So it's not far fetched to think that inflationary monetary policy will continue for a country in which consumption represents 70% of the economy.
