David Newheiser @dnewheiser.bsky.social · 12/06/2025In the meantime, Newsweek - the normiest news outlet - reports that long COVID has surpassed asthma as the most common chronic health condition among American children. David Newheiser @dnewheiser.bsky.social · 27/05/2025It's totally delightful to see this essay of mine translated into German. David Newheiser @dnewheiser.bsky.social · 22/05/2025In Tallahassee Emancipation Day is a holiday - commemorating the day Emancipation was proclaimed, eleven days after the Civil War ended. David Newheiser @dnewheiser.bsky.social · 09/05/2025A few days ago, I felt a cold coming on. I took 2 COVID tests, both negative, but the 3rd came back positive. David Newheiser @dnewheiser.bsky.social · 08/05/2025Graham Parsons writes that West Point forbids instructors from assigning readings on some topics, and it has prevented the debate team from taking some positions. David Newheiser @dnewheiser.bsky.social · 19/04/2025So, with an hour's notice, 60 of us gathered at the Tallahassee jail. We chanted and sang - and then, to our amazement, Lopez-Gomez was released. After feeling so helpless, it was a reminder that - despite the violence all around - there is power in solidarity. /2 110612 0
