This was one of the first pieces that I drew when I was getting into digital art! It’s not perfect (and I definitely traced over some images of miniatures) but for knowing next to nothing I’m still really proud of it. I also love making movie posters of my DnD5e and TTRPG campaigns!

Dungeondraft and Wonderdraft are AMAZING. It was the first piece of mapmaking software that I got comfortable with. You are correct though, without a ton of assets from other creators it’s hard to get sci-fi right with it. That goes for most mapmakers from what I’ve seen.

For my mapmakers out there who make stuff for VTTs and other digital TTRPGs. What mapmaking program do y’all use? I have a chronic problem of getting almost every one that releases (I’ve even drawn my own) but I haven’t figured out which works best for me. What do you look for in a program?
