Work in progress! This fancy portrait of a Southern Red-billed Hornbill is awaiting some finishing touches. I think I’ll call him Ebenezer. #birdart #birdartist #getwhimsical #africanhornbill #birdlovers

No matter how prepared you think you are, going to the DMV always feels like dealing with a contemptuous parent. In other news, I have moved to Maryland.

Hey bird nerds! I’m so obsessed with Australian birds that I wrote a book and then dedicated my 2027 calendar to them. If you’re looking to expand your knowledge, or want to support a fellow bird lover, please consider supporting an independent artist. www.deerhawkhealing.com/shop/doofy-b...

I am so tired of being an artist AND photographer, video editor, website creator, shop girl, etc. I just want to share my love of weird birds and go play in nature.

This painting of an #osprey originally had a more traditional landscape behind it. After it sat in my studio for ages, I revisited it and gave it a more abstract and vibrant background with fickers of gold. I’m happy to share that it has found a home! #birdart #birdartist #birdlovers
