Foggy this morning around parts of central #Virginia, with an area of heavier showers speeding towards #RVA (arriving in the next hour or so); thankfully not a big area of rain and moving quickly so it shouldn't last too long.

Staying dry the rest of the week, with temps warming into the low/mid 80s for a few days, then clouds and showers return for next weekend; Sunday in particular looks like a washout, and temps cooling down again into the 60s and 70s.

A big cluster of showers/weak storms from just west of #DC to north of #Baltimore this morning, otherwise just mostly cloudy today; showers across West Virginia *might* make it into parts of the Shenandoah Valley but the mountains should weaken most of it.
The image shows a weather radar map centered on central Maryland and northern Virginia, highlighting a line of heavy precipitation and potential thunderstorms.

⚬ Precipitation Band: A dense corridor of radar reflectivity extends north-to-south, stretching from near the Pennsylvania border down through central Maryland into Northern Virginia.
⚬ High-Intensity Areas: Large patches of yellow, orange, and vibrant red (indicating heavy rainfall and severe activity) are visible over Westminster, Reisterstown, Owings Mills, Ellicott City, Columbia, Rockville, and extending down towards Sterling and McLean.
⚬ Surrounding Locations: Major metro areas like Baltimore and Washington, D.C., sit just to the east of the primary storm cluster.
