I've just released my fourth @dmsguild.com product - another one that's Ravenloft-themed & tarokka-themed, but this one's my very first attempt at an adventure! Throw your Level 5 PCs into a colosseum Domain of Dread run by a beholder Darklord! 👁️ www.dmsguild.com/en/product/5...

As a YouTuber and DMsGuild content creator, it's moments like these that put a big stupid grin in my face... 😊 Love it when someone uses something I suggest and it goes well for them.

A YouTube comment on one of my videos saying "@DMoftheMists We finished our Valichan Game! I ran it almost exactly how you described it and it went amazing. I had the characters as..."

Love that a Curse of Strahd map & tokens is shown as an example on the @roll20.net homepage when logged out / for first-time visitors. Has it been that way for long? 🌫️🧛🏻‍♂️

Can you guess - based on this screenshot - which CoS video I'm working on next…? 🧛🏻‍♂️👀

Very proud that The 3-Pile Tarokka Technique is now an Electrum Best Seller on @dmsguild.com. It helps Curse of Strahd DMs with the campaign's tarokka reading, acting as an in-between of the RAW (fully random) approach & stacking the deck. www.dmsguild.com/en/product/4...

The latest CoS/Ravenloft custom emoji is… Ez! ⚔️ The monster hunter's protégé, who is one of my fave Ravenloft NPCs. Members of the channel can post this emoji in video comments - alongside Strahd, van Richten, Ireena, Azalin & others.

Got another custom emoji made… This time it's everyone's favourite Ravenloft lich: Azalin Rex, the Darklord of Darkon! He looks so gwumpy… 😂💀 Members of the channel can post this emoji in video comments - alongside Strahd, van Richten, Ireena & others.

To celebrate Soth's return to Ravenloft, I thought I'd get the li'l guy as a friend for Strahd… 🧛🏻‍♂️💀 He glows in the dark, apparently - so I'll have to take a nighttime pic, too.

Started to run Heroes of the Borderlands for the kids (nearly 12 and 8½). Impressed with all the stuff the box (the Starter Set) comes with: maps, cards, tokens, etc. Adventure-wise I’m finding it to be fairly quick & easy to prep, too. ⚔️🎲

As part of the YouTube membership, I can upload custom emoji. In addition to Strahd, van Richten, me and my cat (R.I.P. 😿), I've gotten two versions of Ireena made. Artist is EJB (she did my banner - she's also one of my players). Feel free to turn into tokens & use in your own CoS/Ravenloft games.

Went to LEGOLAND Windsor earlier this week and picked up a Dragonborn Paladin minifig keychain. ⚔️🔑 It looks cool, but the horns on the back of its head are quite stabby when you reach for your keys in your pocket… 😅😬

And so it begins... I'm making Tergeron Manor (from the old Ravenloft module A Light in the Belfry) in Dungeondraft... Here's my progress so far - the outside pretty much done. Onto the building interior next.

Last night, my player-who-also-DMs-for-me wrapped up her homebrew campaign, which has been going monthly since early 2022 (IIRC). Hence ends the story of Ammi, my Gem (Amethyst) Dragonborn Wild Magic Sorcerer. Godspeed, Ammitak - you were a lot of fun to play. 💜

I've been keeping a casual eye on my channel's total views, and I can't believe I checked it when it was exactly *that* amount…! 🤯 (Usually it's a random number that isn't rounded up/down, like 98,274 or something.)

The 3-Pile Tarokka Technique is now a Silver Best Seller on @dmsguild.com! 🎉 It helps Curse of Strahd DMs to run the tarokka reading in a way that's random (as it should be IMO!) *but* also more controlled & narratively satisfying. Check it out here: www.dmsguild.com/product/4748... #CurseofStrahd

I like using Hero Forge to create character designs. This is the halfling Arcane Trickster Rogue I'm playing in a one-shot next week:

A Hero Forge character design of a halfling Arcane Trickster Rogue, with a rapier in one hand, a mage hand spell cast from the other, and colourful smoke at his base. The angle is taken from above, with the character looking up, winking.

We’re getting some rooms redecorated in our house & the D&D shelf looks better than ever… 🤩🤓 (I probably should’ve waited until now to do that “My D&D Collection” Short - but oh well!)

Lots of D&D books and boxed sets on a shelf.

When you hover your mouse over a video on YouTube, it shows you a little repeating, soundless clip from it. On one of my recent videos, it's so perfectly timed that it looks like I'm drawing the same card (from a deck of cards) over & over & over, for infinity. It's weirdly mesmerising… 😵
