Hmm, might have fixed things, might not have. But at least I was able to finish this one. Pencils by Apalomaro on deviantart. #Rogue #Xmen #Digitalart #Inks

Trying to get back into inking/colouring, and my monitor decides to start flickering randomly and then going black and coming back. Joy... This is something I really needed after I bought a house.

I've got people so I'm good but thank you for the offer.

Finally finished my first draft... and upon re-read I'm just like "Oh shit, this is gonna need a lot more work than I anticipated."

It's the beginning of spooky month. Time to watch a spooky movie.

Yes I would, it just takes a really long time and requires a lot of stopping and starting.

And just like every photo taken of me, I've got my eyes shut.

Talking with people about stories and it becomes pretty clear which ones have actually read the book, which ones only watched the movies, and which ones skim-read the Wikipedia plot summary.

Were cats kept on farms like cows or sheep, or were they just feral cats allowed to roam the planet freely until they were hunted down for a family dinner? I used to watch the show as a kid but it never occurred to me to ask until I saw this comic.

Remember, don't open with a lawsuit threat, give them the opportunity to do the right thing, but when that doesn't work, start on the offensive and do not back off until they decide to act right. And if you can't afford a lawsuit? Well, they don't need to know that.

Now that I actually own my house I don't have to worry about damaging it when I put up a poster or something. The only question is, what do I put up?

010

David Herbert @dmh3000.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Disappointed that I gave up comics since the cost got too great. But probably impressed about other things I did.

To be honest, I didn't even know #EdSheeran was a thing.

Just realised the number. Got anything planned for the big 1 triple 0?

And then, truly, we'll all be sorry.

Went over to Deviant Art and my front page was all AI porn shit. Just because I colour comic book stuff doesn't mean I want to see a badly generated image of Batgirl with her tits out.

I mean... I want to know more, at least.

They're blue screen effects, that's why the sky is that colour.

Everyone have fun at #RoseCityComicCon this weekend. I'd go but I just bought a house, also that geographical issue where I'm on the other side of the globe.

While filming the Battle of Helm's Deep, the cinematographer was asked "Where is all the lighting coming from?". The response was "The same place as the score." That's my assumption, at least.

New #OcarinaOfTime looks more detailed than I was expecting but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's just weird to see a Hyrule Field with individual strands of grass, might take a bit to get used to.

Cast a role, other than the actual casting. Keanu Reeves as Marty McFly

Months ago I watched the pilot for House and enjoyed it. But for some reason I never watched another episode. Oh well, maybe some day.

This happened to me ten years ago. I had a choice between a new project and making rent, and it had to be rent. And then slowly but surely I started to give up. I plan to make a comeback one day, but then other stuff comes up so one day slips further ahead.

So, watching previews for #GTAVI and it might just be me, or maybe I'm getting the wrong previews, but it just looks like the current gen versions of #GTAV to me. I don't know, I figured it would have its own look.

Here's an old #SpiderMan page I coloured a long time ago. I believe the artist was Mike Deodato. Can't remember which issue it was from though.

The problem is more billionaires are invested in keeping things as they are and would rather waste their resources keeping the status quo, even if help would be cheaper.

My first exposure to Tim Curry was him being the villain in Ferngully, and then Sharon Stone's evil computer in Captain Planet. RIP to a legend.
