If I had to make a point about The Odyssey, which I already talk too much about and certainly think too much about, it would be this. The christian right is upset at the film for reasons that are illogical but are their own. There are people on the left with criticism that the film is too christian

After telling neighbors that Benner would get treatment and be “fine,” a Tulsa police officer enters his vehicle and drives away to the sounds of heavy metal. Benner was dead in an isolation cell an hour later.
