After murdering Good in broad daylight and cold blood, the regime and its minions have slandered Good, declared Good to be a domestic terrorist, mocked the memory of Good, claimed that Good "had it coming" and more. Were this fiction, it would be dismissed as heavy-handed.

Hard news today, Sugar Hill Records founder Barry Poss has died at age 79. Truly, one of the finest music-industry folks I've ever met. You can tell how much I thought of Barry by how often I quoted him (a lot). I'll miss him terribly. loseringbook.wordpress.com/2025/05/13/b...

I keep seeing complaints about egg prices. Here's what a dozen cost today in Raleigh, NC (3 bucks has been the going price here even when it's not designated as a "Hot SALE!"). Doesn't seem exorbitant to me, does it to you? Are other people buying fancier eggs at Nieman Marcus or something?

Scanning the feed today, it feels like some folks need a reminder of how horrified we were at NC Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson’s declaration that, “Some folks need killing.” Isn’t our side supposed to be better than that?

Sometimes, one's book winds up on the shelf at the store alongside a seminal work by a longtime idol. Durham's Letters Bookshop has my "Oh, Didn't They Ramble" next to "Mystery Train" by Greil Marcus -- a book that completely turned my head around 40-odd years ago.
