Ever notice how lawful neutral is nearly just as bad as lawful evil?

I live in literally the reddest state in the country. Nobody here gives a fuck if you say “Happy Holidays.” I’m so exhausted by this manufactured outrage.

Gotta give the It movies props: it’s the first time in a franchise a horror film was followed by a comedy.

Shelley Duvall gave the best performance in The Shining. If it wasn’t for her, the other performances would have felt downright goofy.

Sourdough starter is the closest thing to a real life Lovecraftian horror there is. The fuck you mean you have a jar of wild fungus that you have to feed every day that will occasionally reward you with bread?

The damage a trap does is inversely proportional to how hard it is to spot and avoid. The more damage, the easier to spot. Pit trap. Hard to spot. Deals minor damage. Big gem held in the mouth of a (trapped) statue surrounded by skeletons reaching for it. Easy to spot. Big damage.

Quick dungeon room population tool using a bell curve. Roll 2d6: Range 2 to 12, 2 being extremely dangerous and 12 is very safe/helpful. 7 is an empty room. Results divisible by 3 have treasure. Even numbers are encounters. Odd numbers are traps, hazards, obstacles.

Just had an eBay buyer leave negative feedback because we “used the cheapest shipping available.” We actually spent 150% more than the buyer paid for. Didn’t even contact us. I have to deal with shit like this every fucking day and it’s exhausting.

Weird thing I just picked up on (and hella niche). Forbidden Psalm lets you create characters using two combinations of stat modifiers: +3, +1, +0, -3 OR +2, +2, -1, -2 Between those sets are 36 potential combinations. A d66 table also offers 36 combinations. So you can random with a d66 table

I have two goals right now: 1) Finish past projects (getting closer every day) 2) Just Passing Through to 100 books (this will, by my calculations, create more pages of content then all Forgotten Realms content combined)

After doing a bit of research into medieval demographics, particularly France. I worked out that there is: 1 capital 6 hub cities 72 trade towns 480 villages If I dedicate 384 pages to the capital book, 192 for each hub, 192 per 12 towns, and 192 per 20 villages…

Lacking time to create content for your Tabletop RPG game? Players love going "off mission", exploring side paths, or wandering around your sandbox. Creating everything you need for a village without making it feel too vague or undercooked is impossible. Those detours require detail.

I used to be afraid that we were falling into a dictatorship. But after catching a few clips of Hegseth’s unbelievably cringey speech in front of the generals, it’s obvious who we’re dealing with… Losers. Huge fucking losers. Like dweebs, man. JFC they are so lame. Sooo fucking lame.
