Here's another fantastic Studio 1 instrumental album, featuring my favourite JAcan horn player!

Continuing with the "treasures of instrumental reggae" theme... so many of them are on the Studio 1 label, for example this killer. Jackie's version What's Going On is unbeatable!

Contemplating my great new A. Pablo record makes me think of the other excellent reggae instrumental LPs I have picked up over decades of low key collecting. This was probably the first one, dating from the mid/late 80s

Lp album cover: "Reggay at it's best festuring Tommy McCook"

This came in the mail today... finally I have a vinyl copy of one of all-time favourite instrumental reggae albums! My previous copy on two cassettes was purchased from the Rockers Intl shop in Kingston, back in the depths of time when it was Pablo's latest release

Second visit to the Hennepin (downtown) branch of the Minneapolis Public Library, second sight of an awesome punk-themed display!

Colleagues & co-workers have been completing this puzzle in our lunch room... hats off! I spent a few minutes trying to fit a piece at an earlier stage and was stymied
