Normally, I’d agree, but Verbeek’s record on this rebuild is iffy. He waited too long to sell Gibby and Z, probably shouldn’t have sold Z, has forced unnecessary holdouts with key RFAs, is putting too much faith in veterans instead of trading for high quality prime players, and lies to the media.
