A recent one I loved was the Mario RPG Remake. Just the pure bluntness of it following the Japanese box art template. Makes it feel like a lovingly made and high quality fan render, which just sells how unreal it felt that this game happened

The new look was definitely a shock to the system but I think I might really like it. Similar to Bananza I guess I’ve just gotta get used to these things looking different after being gone for so long. Love the throughline back to the original design.

2. Melinoe and Nemesis. Yes I’m cheating but I had to. Melinoe is such a cool and well spoken character who’s fun to play as. You really understand how much her journey to save her family means to her. Nemesis is a great rival to her that grows closer to her as it goes. Them both developing a bond.
