every time i tell myself i have to learn to count yaku i. don't end up doing it because i'm too busy begrudgingly going for whatever mess of a hand i can cobble together (probably tanyao) or going for 13 orphans like a fucking maniac. my greed is sickening (but the thrill of getting kokushi!!)

i bought a 1 lb package of sliced deli turkey yesterday and today there's slightly less than half left because i couldn't stop eating it. feels mildly undignified ngl, i'm halfway to 40 and snarfing down turkey slices and bread in my kitchen like a dog that figured out how to open the fridge.
