Letting the machines run everything is a dead end... there's no progress if all we do is repackage the past, and a diploma mill for lazy people who don't learn the material is as big a waste of resources as the AI datacenters that facilitate the cheating.

A reminder of growing up on a farm! We had a bunch of peach trees, and of course they all ripen at once and it becomes a race to pick them before the critters get to them... then you have WAY more peaches than you could possibly eat before they go bad.

Having a bit of fun at the expense of Rafael Cruz' staff (since it seems likely that Cruz would never see it.) After Rafael crying about the VA redistricting, I could not resist:
I have recently seen reports of Senator Cruz lamenting the decision of Virginia VOTERS to redistrict the state unusually, at a mid-point between census cycles as a "brazen abuse of power and an insult to democracy." He went on to whinge about the resulting change in representation of the 47% of Virginians who cast a vote for Trump (who has horribly insulted both Cruz' wife and Cruz himself.)

First off, I'd point out to the Senator that Kamala Harris won over 42% of the vote in Texas, but even BEFORE Abbott & Patrick's unpopular mid-census redistricting in Texas, only 32% of our legislative delegation in Washington was from her party, and I have not heard the Senator castigate the Texas redistricting, which was *NOT* driven by the voters of Texas, nor did it seek their input but attempted to swing another 5 Republican seats and disenfranchise even more Texas Democrats. If it achieves their goal, it would reduce the representation of that 42% of Texans who voted Democrat in the last Presidential election to 20%. Where's the Senator's lamentation for that outcome?

Further, I would point out that the actions in Virginia (and California, and elsewhere) are the DIRECT result of the actions of Abbott and Patrick here in Texas. No left-leaning states were planning to try to cheat their states' voters out of representation before Texas, and the other efforts are retaliation for the bad-faith actions of Texas Republicans.

If the Senator is going to dishonestly ignore the questionable actions of Greg Abbott and Dan Patrick, I suggest that he do his best to ignore the retaliation against those actions as well, lest he be seen as a dishonest corrupt partisan rather than as the "smartest guy in the room" he seems to imagine himself to be.
